If you’ve made the decision to work with us, then you’re ready to get down to business. And we are too. We work with clients to laser-focus on what they need and where they’re going, which means that we aren’t going to spend years together tip-toeing around looking for solutions. Most of our clients benefit from a short-term treatment approach (typically around 18-20 sessions, spread between weekly, bi-weekly, and eventually monthly appointments).
We maximize our short time together by:
- Coming up with objective and measurable goals at your first appointment.
- Using questionnaires, assessments, and sometimes “homework” assignments between appointments to keep you on track.
- Learning from those assignments outside of the session to look at real results.
Our practice follows a “hybrid” model, meaning some of our providers bill insurance, while others do not, and are considered “Out of Network” providers. If you receive services from an Out of Network provider, we can provide you, upon your request, a “superbill”, which is a medical receipt for services. You may seek reimbursement from your insurance company by submitting this superbill to them. Reimbursement rates typically range from 35%-75%, should your insurance company honor the reimbursement request.
*Some providers may charge an additional $25 assessment fee for an assessment related to your counseling treatment. If so, this can be discussed at your first appointment.
Insurance for Therapy
Our practice is in-network with a small number of insurance companies, including Anthem (Blue Cross Blue Shield) and WellCare. You can view below which therapists are in-network with insurance if you need to use your insurance benefits to pay for therapy.

OUT-OF-NETWORK WITH INSURANCE
The following providers do not accept insurance. They are considered private pay. You can pay with cash, check, card, or with a Health Savings Account or Flex Spending Account. You may also request a “Superbill” from these providers, which is a medical receipt for services. This can be submitted to your insurance company to request reimbursement for the cost of your counseling services.
